Types of Trees Requested

Note: When identifying what type of native trees are best for you, please consult the National Wildlife Federation's Tree Guide. To find out if a tree species is native to your area, please visit the USDA Plants Database and search by common name or scientific name. All requested trees will be verified by the National Wildlife Federation as being native to your region. You may specify what species you prefer (up to four different kinds). If specific species are not available, we will let you know what is available for your area.

Describe how your event fits with the National Wildlife Federation's Trees for Wildlife priority criteria. Please include the number of students and volunteers that will participate and how this event will enhance student awareness about their environment. (How will the trees be used? Who will plant trees? Why are trees being planted? Who will care for them?)
