The Craig Tufts Education Fund

National Wildlife Federation and Craig Tufts’ family has established the Craig Tufts Educational Scholarship Fund to honor Craig’s legacy and passion for teaching and empower generations to explore, learn and steward wildlife and the outdoors.

Craig, for over 32 years, worked at National Wildlife Federation as the founding staff member of the Backyard Wildlife Habitat program and Chief Naturalist. He was nationally well-known for his abilities to engage novice nature enthusiasts.

Craig inspired many people to connect with nature. More than any position or title he held, it was the breadth of his knowledge about plants and birds, and his contagious curiosity that compelled people to connect with him.

As part of the Fund, each year at least one youth will receive a scholarship to support and increase their interest and desire to learn about nature through study, adventure and exploration.

Your contribution to the fund will help inspire future generations of naturalists to love nature and to, hopefully, dedicate part of their lives to inspire others to care for our natural world - as Craig did on behalf of National Wildlife Federation.
